Thanks to the youth of the renewable/green industry, the standard for education and training in this industry is still being set. Right now, the North American Board of Certified Energy Practicioners (NABCEP), sets the standard for green contractors. When professionals enter and training in renewables, they want to know the course's affiliation with NABCEP to know what they will be certified to do.
